What if you answered the part of you that sometimes asks quietly and sometimes insistently for stillness, non-doing, and simply being? Most of us don't need another thing to improve. What we long for is a practice that quietly reminds us how to return to ourselves. This is the intention behind Rooted in Practice. Through tea, we will gently cultivate that together - without expecting anything ever to be perfectly finished. You'll feel the warmth of the kettle, the weight of the cup in your hands, the rising steam, the texture of clay, the quiet rhythm of pouring and sitting. Not to add more to your daily life, but to guide you through the noise of the outside world, toward a place you can return to.

When the outside world grows louder and wilder, the world within can keep us rooted. Rooted in practice. Rooted within.

No matter whether this is your first encounter with tea or you've been walking this path for years, there is always another layer waiting to unfold. Supported by the energy of Autumn Equinox and held by the cycle of seasons over three months we'll gently cultivate a living relationship with tea.

Together we'll explore:

• tea as a daily practice of presence

• ritual and why small gestures matter

• water, fire and how they shape every bowl

• different tea genres and living tea

• brewing methods and ceremony

• serving tea for yourself and for others

• silence

• conversation

• questions that have no immediate answers

This is not a course about becoming an expert. The longer I walk the tea path, the less I feel like an expert. Tea continues to remind me that I will always remain a student. Perhaps that is why I don't see this as teaching. I see it as practicing together. Walking beside one another. Learning from tea, from silence and from the seasons.
